Tracking your clicks to protect your AdSense account

There have been numerous reports of AdSense accounts being suspended because of invalid clicks. Some claim they are innocent, have not clicked on ads in their own sites or asked anyone to click. But if you have people out to get you, by indiscriminately clicking on the ads on your site, there is a possibility of you getting suspended. Thus it is important for you to check your AdSense report regularly and report any suspicious activities to Invalid/suspicious activities report form. If your account is suspended, and you appeal, it is very important you provide as much information as you can in your first appeal, as that is your best chance. Once that appeal is rejected, it will be very hard for you to get AdSense to even read your subsequent appeals or emails. See also What to do if your AdSense account is suspended. There are publishers who got reinstated and you can read about their experience and also advice on how to go about in your appeal. There is also a link to the appeal form there.

You may also want to install means to track clicks. I have beentesting ClickAider and they give various reports including a log file. See screenshot below (click to enlarge):

Note that the host from which the click came from is reported (highlighted by red circle). Information like this can be very helpful when you make your appeal.
